What is airbrshing?

Airbrushing has been used for many years to alter photographs but once we entered the digital area the concept of airbrushing became more and more popular, as well as more etreme. Nowadays it is used in almost every magazine we read to improve to looks of the people in them (mostly celebrites.) Airbrushing brings with it many moral issues for example is it right to change the way someone looks? many argue it is not and that by using these types of photos in magazines we are giving a false image and can lead to self esteem issues.
